BLODET Skellefteå, Sweden
Blodet was formed in the small northern Swedish town Skellefteå in early 2014. A longing for Huge waves of sound and
dissonant chords and also being bored by traditional song structures was and still is the reason for Blodets existence.
Blodet has been described as balancing on the edge between Swans and Sonic Youth or the more noisy side of instrumental post punk and post rock.

This album is everything I want from an extreme metal release. Ferocious riffs/blasts with some of the best extreme vocals I've heard in ages contrasted against beautiful atmospheric passages and some exceptional crescendos. This has easily secured it's position in my Top 10 for the year list and may well yet secure top spot. Incredible, incredible album - cannot recommend it highly enough.

I've finally got Black Line on physical copy and this record actually blew my mind. There's so much beauty to this album but also its so crushingly heavy and extreme in an audio sense, Respire don't hold back they just let everything go and beyond, amazing!!
